With more than 85 years of experience in the metal processing industry, Halcor is a reliable partner for industries manufacturing equipment and fittings, as well as commercial companies that market products to meet customers’ needs worldwide.

Halcor specialises in developing solutions for a broad spectrum of applications, primarily for HVAC&R, industrial, electrical and construction applications, the automotive industry and for renewable energy sources. Its commitment to being a leader in innovation is reflected both in its investment in Research & Development and in its advanced production processes.

Halcor’s Heat Transfer Laboratory is one of the few in the world specialising in inner grooved tubes (IGT). It applies cutting-edge technologies to producing high-specification products customised to the technical requirements of each customer.

Halcor consists of 3 production plants, all based in Oinofyta, Viotia with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques to comprehensively address a broad spectrum of market demands. Halcor’s plants have successfully obtained certifications according to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018 and ΙSO 46001:2019, ensuring Halcor’s long-term strategical approach in terms of compliance to global standards.

Tube Heat Tranfer Laboratory

The Tube Heat Transfer Laboratory plays a critical role in the copper and alloys extrusion division’s efforts to enhance research and development. By creating new products and improving existing ones, the Laboratory adds value to the division and helps strengthen relationships with customers. 


The Laboratory specialises in research and development, particularly in assessing the performance of plain and inner-grooved tubes used in heat exchangers. Halcor has gained worldwide recognition as one of the few copper product manufacturers to operate such specialised laboratories within its plants.

Copper & alloys extrusion division.

To enhance production and increase capacity, Halcor has been implementing the “BEST” industrial excellence programme, initially launched at the copper tubes mill and now gradually expanding to other plants within the division. 

It has also invested in a manufacturing execution system (MES) to provide online representation across production, thus contributing to the digitisation of the segment’s production plants. 

Halcor continues to invest in the upskilling of human resources, applying the Lean Six Sigma methodology to train employees in areas such as quality, management, effectiveness project and process management. Additionally, it offers other training courses covering topics such as production, occupational health and safety, and sustainable development.

Sofia Med, part of the copper segment, is a leading European producer of rolled and extruded copper and copper alloys products. Located in Sofia, Bulgaria, it operates with over 85 years of experience, serving customers worldwide across industries such as automotive, electrical, and construction.
