ElvalHalcor’s sustainability strategy is underpinned by robust governance structures at the Board level and across subsidiaries. These structures are essential for translating ambitious goals into actionable results. The Board oversees the Sustainability strategy, which focuses on:

  • Establishing policies and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Setting goals for material issues.
  • Implementing due diligence mechanisms.
  • Integrating sustainability into the supply chain.
  • Monitoring Sustainability strategies, risks, and initiatives at the Board level.

Due Diligence and Risk Management.

The company performs a Human Rights Due Diligence process to identify and address potential risks in our operations. This complements the supplier due diligence process, which evaluates risks and opportunities across the value chain. The Sustainability and Risk Management departments collaborate to ensure alignment with global best practices and modern governance standards.

Integrity Hotline

Whistleblowing Mechanism.

We have established Integrity Hotline, a whistleblowing mechanism in compliance with the European Whistleblowing Directive. This mechanism allows employees and stakeholders to report concerns about: 

  • Labour or human rights violations

  • Environmental compliance issues 

  • Business ethics breaches 

Comprehensive protections ensure anonymity and support for whistleblowers.
