Recognising this, we invest in strong, sustainable partnerships, based on shared principles of ethical conduct. Responsible sourcing is one of the company’s most material topics due to its significant economic and societal impact. Collaborations with suppliers or producers lacking proper governance or engaging in unethical practices can disrupt the value chain, lead to penalties, and harm the company’s reputation.
To mitigate such risks, we have implemented a responsible sourcing management process to identify supplier risks and opportunities. Central to this effort is the Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines principles related to environmental protection, employee Safety and Health, respect for human rights, and more. Business partners are required to adhere to these principles, sign the Code and promote its adoption within their supply chains.
