Launched as part of Elval’s long-term commitment to workforce development and social responsibility, Future Forward reflects a simple yet powerful vision: to grow together with the next generation. By offering opportunities for students and pupils to explore, experiment, and engage with professionals, the initiative helps bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application — shaping future talent while reinforcing Elval’s culture of continuous learning.
In 2025, Future Forward expanded its reach through a series of specialized workshops in collaboration with leading educational and youth organizations across Greece. In March, the “Principles of Effective Communication” workshop was held in Eretria in partnership with AIESEC Greece, encouraging participants to enhance their interpersonal and presentation skills — essential tools for any professional environment.
In April, Elval joined forces with BEST Athens and the consulting group The Flow Partners to organize “Pitching an Idea,” an interactive session aimed at helping students from the National Technical University of Athens turn their ideas into compelling proposals. The workshop emphasized creativity, collaboration, and the courage to present one’s vision with confidence.
Finally, in July, 95 high-school students from schools across Greece participated in the “Costing & Budgeting: Financial Thinking Behind Every Business Decision” workshop, held in collaboration with the Athens University of Economics and Business. The session introduced young learners to the fundamentals of business planning, giving them an early understanding of how economic reasoning shapes everyday decision-making in modern enterprises.
Each activity within Future Forward is supported by Elval employees who share their experience, act as mentors, and demonstrate how engineering excellence and human development go hand in hand. Beyond skills training, the initiative fosters a mindset of lifelong learning — a value deeply embedded in Elval’s DNA.
