  • Empowering education through innovation: The first ever Technology Hub in a Greek School powered by ElvalHalcor

ElvalHalcor supports the creation of a Technology Innovation Hub in Oinofyta in collaboration with “Together for Children” and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - EKPA.

In collaboration with the non-profit organization “Together for Children” (Mazi gia to paidi), and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA), ElvalHalcor supports the establishment of the first Technology Hub within a Greek school — an ambitious, pioneering initiative that redefines the relationship between education, technology, and community development.

Through this project, 50 teachers from the region will receive specialized training in future technologies, AI, STEM methodologies, enabling them to inspire and guide more than 2,000 students toward scientific discovery, problem-solving, creative thinking and digital skills. A core team of 10 mentors will act as enablers, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project.

The hub will feature state-of-the-art educational equipment, satellite internet connectivity, and comprehensive teaching materials developed by EKPA’s «STEM Education and Robotic Education Systems” MSc program, creating an environment where learning meets innovation. Beyond its educational dimension, the initiative aims to make the local school community a true knowledge hub for society, highlighting the role of education as a bridge between technology, innovation, and local development.

ElvalHalcor’s support reflects its enduring commitment to sustainable growth, equal opportunities, and the empowerment of the next generation, reaffirming that education is not only the foundation of progress but also the heartbeat of every thriving community.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting initiative, to be announced soon.
